Points Protection was designed to provide you with flexibility and peace of mind when booking your RCI® exchange vacation. In simple terms, if you need to cancel your exchange vacation for ANY reason, Points Protection ensures that you will be refunded 100% of the Points that you used for that exchange.

Without Points Protection the standard cancelation policy would apply. Unless you cancel at least 120 days prior to check-in, you would only be refunded a portion of your Points, depending upon how close to check-in you cancel.
