Gold Coast is home to diverse food and one of the many cuisines you’ll find in this city is Mexican cuisine. If you’re craving for Mexican food, we highly recommend getting your fill at Montezuma’s Surfer Paradise. Montezuma has been a Gold Coast institution for 20 years and counting, feeding sandy surfers from all parts of the world. Our personal favourite is their loaded nachos, which you can top with grilled cheese, garlic prawns, or shredded meat! Don’t skimp on their burritos and enchiladas as well. 

Experiencing the Ice and Snow Festival is a must for visitors planning a winter trip to China. The dazzling large and small ice and snow sculptures, which are illuminated with LED lights, can awe both children and adults.

Savour a flavorful hot-pot or relax on the deck chair while riding the luxury Yangtze River cruise. This cruise will also let you take in the breathtaking views of the well-known Three Gorges from the river’s golden section.

The Jilin rime is one of China’s four natural wonders. This enchanted land is best visited between late December and the end of next February. Allow your family to marvel at the magical sight of white rimes adorning the land and trees. Wait for sunrise or sunset to see how the snow and ice reflect everything in the sky, turning everything at the periphery into different shades of the sunlight.

For authentic Sichuan flavours, go to Huangcheng Laoma. Run by artists, Huangcheng Laoma features a Chengdu-themed interior and photo installations to elevate your experience. This restaurant is popular for their traditionally spicy hot-pots but if that’s too much for your liking, you can always opt for their qing tang (soft soup) which features their signature broth without the spices.
