Riding Mountain National Park of Canada offers hiking, biking, camping, golf, and picnicking in a gorgeous setting of rolling hills and streams. There is a good chance you will spot moose, bear, or elk in this natural setting! Fine restaurants and quaint boutiques are located at the Victorian-style resort in this sanctuary. Enjoy skiing and ski school in the winter months! A nearby lake offers water skiing, windsurfing, boating, and fishing opportunities. Medical facility and grocery store are nearby as well.

Directions from Major Airport to Resort

The nearest International airport is 175 miles away in Winnipeg. From the airport, take Hwy 1 West to Hwy 16 West. While on Highway 16 West, exit onto Highway 10 north to Riding Mountain National Park. The resort is 1/2 mile past the park entrance, on the south side of the road. From Minot, North Dakota Airport take Highway 83 for 37 miles to Highway 5. Follow Highway 5 to Dunseith then turn north onto Highway 3. When you reach the Canadian Border, Highway 3 automatically changes to Highway 10. Follow Highway 10 north to the Elkhorn Resort.
