Saas-Fee the Pearl of the Alps, is surrounded by the highest Swiss mountains, where thirteen 4.000 m peaks tower up to the sky. The car-free, family- friendly village is sheltered by the high mountains as in a shell. The romantic village ambience and attractive promenades offers varied shopping opportunities, lively bars, trendy meeting places, pubs and musical events. A very popular area all year round, the winter offers: 145 km prepared ski slopes, 36 cable- cars, 32 km cross-country tracks, 60 km winter footpaths, 54 km snowshoe walkls. In the summer guests can enjoy 350 km trails and footpaths, 14 cable cars, 70 km mountain bike trails, 15 km marked Nordic walking trails, and 5 via ferrata climbs.

Directions from Major Airport to Resort

Nearest airport: Bern(127Km) / Bassel(219Km) - From the airport follow the signs to Bern, Thun, Spiez, Frutigen, Kandersteg and then take the Lötschberg car-train. After the car-train, follow the signs to Visp/Brig. Before Visp, branch off to Saas-Fee and go through the tunnel. Then follow the signs to Saas-Fee. At the Parking, unload you luggage in Terminal A and B and park your car either in the multi-storey car-park or in the open-air car-park at the entrance to the village. Then use the free telephone to call the hotel and you will be picked up straightaway and taken to the hotel free of charge. You can optain the Saas-Fee Guest Card, which gives you a discount on the car parking charges from the 2nd day, from the the reception desk in the hotel.
