<< WANAKA, NEW ZEALAND
While the pace of life here is less hurried than in Queenstown, Wanaka enjoys an enviable climate. While some activities are seasonal, most can be enjoyed all year round. With a lower than average rainfall and high sunshine hours there’s no excuse for lazing around... unless you choose to.
There are many ways to enjoy Wanaka’s beautiful outdoor environment. It is only from the air that the size, scale and majesty of the landscape can be really appreciated. Take a scenic flight, tandem sky dive, paraglide or learn to fly - the choices are endless.
A trip to Wanaka wouldn’t be complete without exploring the lake and its many islands or taking a trip down one of the wild rivers. For the daring, immerse yourself completely canyoning (various ways of exploring canyons) or white water rafting. A number of mountains surrounding Wanaka
