Opening Ceremony for Palawan Waterpark by Astoria in Philippines
RCI recently had the honour of attending Palawan Waterpark by Astoria Vacation Leisure Club's grand opening ceremony earlier in June. Members from both the Astoria Vacation Leisure Club Inc. and RCI were present to celebrate the monumental two-part opening.
The primary portion of the day was spent at the new Astoria Palawan Annex, a 70-unit luxury resort building nestled in the western part of the Philippines.
In the evening, the team was treated to a luau-themed celebration party filled with song and dance held at Astoria Vacation and Leisure Club Inc. The brand new park boasts a variety of thrilling facilities, from the adrenaline-pumping “Velocity Aqua Slides” to the relaxing “St. Paul River Ride”. Also included are a children’s pool and a rock climbing wall that gives climbers a spectacular view of the expansive water park.
Between the opening of Palawan’s very first waterpark and the Astoria Palawan Annex, RCI is grateful to Astoria Vacation Leisure Club Inc. for including us in such a memorable occasion. We are excited at the new opportunities this offers our guests, everything from a great opportunity for family gatherings to a weekend of relaxation.

The Astoria Palawan provides a relaxing and pampering vacation experience while upholding the strong sustainability standards that are prevalent in the Palawan culture.
