Vacations with RCI
Coasting Down Under
Hi, I am Teck, Legal Counsel of RCI.
This June, I brought my family (wife and two kids) to Victoria State in Australia and we enjoyed a truly wonderful RCI vacation at the countryside!
From Melbourne International Airport, we drove a rented Jeep for more than 3 hours to Kyneton Bushland Resort. As the name suggests, the resort is nestled in a bushland environment where pure rustic nature beckons.
Trekking the historic Hanging Rock in Kyneton was good exercise, especially after the fantastic dining experiences along the renowned Piper Street. We next travelled to Mansfield Country Resort, famous
for the Mount Buller snow hills where we toboganed to our hearts’ content. And how can we leave Down Under without having a close-up encounter with the kangaroos! At Mansfield Zoo, the kids really enjoyed chasing (or being chased by) kangaroos, goats and ducks, and feeding the hungry animals non-stop.
We did not have time to drive over to Phillip Island this time, but did catch a few shots of the famous baby penguins at Melbourne Zoo, so there were no regrets.
Great memories, great fun, great food and overall a great travel and family experience.
Thank you RCI!
