ATHOC Foundation Golf Day 23 March 2016
The Australian Timeshare and Holiday Ownership Council (ATHOC), founded in 2006, works towards giving back to the less fortunate, raising over $500,000 to date. The organisation is primarily focused on helping those who do not meet the criteria for other major charities, such as individuals with rare illnesses and mental disabilities.
RCI was a proud sponsor of this year’s ATHOC Foundation Golf Day, held at the Palmer Colonial Golf Club in Gold Coast, Australia. As a Platinum sponsor of the sold-out event, we covered 2 holes and 16 playing guests including Mark Henry, Managing Director of ULTIQA Lifestyle and Gary Knowles, CEO of Karma Group.
The event saw a grand total of 144 golfers participate in friendly tee-offs, followed by networking sessions over dinner and presentations at the club. The money raised this year went towards the TLC for Kids charity, which helps children suffering from debilitating and life-threatening illnesses. Being able to do our part for a worthy cause while connecting with new and old acquaintances made the event all the more rewarding.
