a visit to the World Heritage Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park. This breathtaking wonder features a 5.5 mile navigable underground river, reputed to be the world’s longest. The river winds its way through a spectacular cave before emptying out in to the South China Sea.
The river flows through a
deep cavern where you’ll get to take in rugged limestone and marble cliffs while enjoying the beautiful crystalline waters of
the underground lagoon. As you wind through the tunnel aboard a paddle boat you will be enthralled at every turn with stalactite pillars, rock formations, and domed amphitheatres.
The Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park is located in Bahile and is about 50 miles from the city. You can reach the river by going through Barangay Cabayugan to Sabang, from where you catch a pump
