Bonus Weeks!
“A few years ago my husband Peter and I decided that we wanted to travel to the US and Canada. Being the adventurous type we wanted to explore the arid beauty of America’s countryside and the mountainous wilderness of Canada our way, at our own pace.
We started off by Depositing our
two weeks of Timeshare with RCI – we were able to exchange into two resorts and with the help of a Reservations Consultant we explored availability at destinations and locations to our liking, snapping up relatively inexpensive international Bonus Weeks – a total of
17 Bonus Weeks to be exact!
Our American and Trans-Canadian DIY odyssey kicked off in Vancouver,
Canada where we spent two weeks getting acquainted with the city. There we bought our ‘wheels’ - a little Ford Escort that we drove to each destination we travelled to and at the end of our trip sold it for the same price!
We then spent four unforgettable weeks skiing during March. One week at world-famous Whistler then two weeks at Lake Okanagan Resort to ski at Big White and Silver Star then back to Whistler for a week before returning to Vancouver to store our ski gear.
